ABOUT US
The Barking Sphinx Performance Society was established in 1998 to support the creation, production, and presentation of contemporary music including new music, musique actuelle, and improvised music. It also supports multi-media, interdisciplinary, and international collaboration in the creation and presentation of new work. Additionally, BSPS aims to educate Canadian audiences about creative music in general though various outreach programs and to enhance the development of the arts and cultural heritage of British Columbia.
